The "feeling" of this movie is all well-intentioned, but the text is toxic in basically every space. Especially in class, with what it hits on, and what it completely ignores (like spiderman having any money struggles whatsoever)

It's not the kind of reality the MCU likes anymore. They're in the fun and games department with the lip-service of morality that doesn't apply to the actual events.

Yes and no. Part of why Toomes works as a relatable villain is because he's not entirely wrong about his life, Tony, etc.. And part of the gut punch of his character's big reveal is not only his relation, but that his much nicer house than Peter and May makes him a hypocrite.
