I laughed at his ridiculous, out of touch, vaguely sexist comment and told him to go focus on what he's good at. If you lump that in with trumpian hate speech it says more about your defensiveness (and the fact that you align yourself with someone historically sexist).

I was referring to the « Put him a room with Louis CK and throw the room away » comment made by M. Lambert that seems incredibly violent to me and lacking any sense of nuance and proportion, even if I’m just discovering the previous controversies with Sorkin.

It's clearly meaning to get people out of the public eye, which again, you read as "violent" and I find that both defensive and troubling. Worry about being decent and elevating those who are decent, not how crappy people get lumped in super crappy people.
