Yeah that was a strange doco. Especially at the end where it felt like he views were attempting to “humanize” and force audience empathy/sympathy for this fraud of a festival host.
Gonna watch the Hulu one next. -
The Hulu doco is actually critical of the issue while addressing THE ACTUAL GUY BILLY, providing a proper timeline and allowing the viewer to see a bigger picture of the event. Netflix was too close. Hulu pulled out a little further. The whole event was a burning tire.

After reading this thread the Netflix doc really comes across, in hind sight, as a PR coverup to how great FJerry is at promotion. It’s practically the structure, even “how do you hold advertisers accountable” last act.
