Oh for sure, it's reasonable to say you worked on the script. But unless it's a page-one, I consider it poor form to discount the work of the others who helped carry the torch - especially if it was the original writer. I've been there, and it suuuuuucks.

I don't find it a good look when the original writer tries to discredit any additional work on the script, especially when it improves the movie. Like the original writer of Speed who got butthurt about Joss Whedon punching up the script and improving the dialogue and characters
