Day 3 of Sinusitis: Imagine your head. Imagine a deflated balloon being snuck through your nasal cavity and tucked into the middle of your brain. Imagine someone inflating it and pushing your brain, eyes ,and throat out of your face. It's like that.

Oh same. Sorry to hear it but finally a soulmate that knows how bad it is. After the first experience with it it became my worst fear in life. Luckily, the last five six times I flew I didn't have the issue. I take an aspirin before flight and then 30-40 mins before landing. 1/2

I also stopped pressure equalizing through the nose (known what I mean?). Just open mouth/yawn/chewing gum now and then to have same effect. So maybe those two things combined help, maybe it's just random luck but I'll be on that regimen from now.

Holy moly aerosinusitis sucks. Some flights on descent I start writhing in pain. Also get some nasal (cortico)steroids if you haven't already!
