I spend a weird amount of time thinking about how people accept stock conventional wisdom even in the face of stark obviousness. Even with something as simple as the now-conveniently forgotten Greg Oden vs. Kevin Durant debate.

"Conventional wisdom" gets folded into worldviews and really hard to dislodge. I also think people like to feel smart for "knowing how things really work" and don't want to let go of that.

In the nba that's true til this day, Ayton and Bagley III went 1 and 2, and Luka the best player in the whole draft,3rd and was traded for the number 5!!! That was insane.
