Dear #Fallout76 and #Battlefield5, I had plans to take you both for a spin - just like old times - but then #RDR2. Honestly, I’m smitten with the quality, depth, and sheer enjoyment of the old west. Best of luck, meanwhile, I need to see what’s going on at that campfire.

That game seems very polarizing. Been seeing lots of 10’s, but also lots of people outraged saying the game is not fun.

Outraged? Interesting. If people expect a Destiny or COD experience then they will be outraged. If they expect a Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 vibe, they will likely drop a 10/10. It isn’t fast or slow but just the right pace and the sense of exploration is overwhelmingly cool.

I was seeing people agree with these observations.https://twitter.com/filmcrithulk/status/1055721023000080385?s=21 …

Film Crit Hulk @FilmCritHULKOkay I genuinely can't believe the stunning ignorance of some of the choices of "fixes" in red dead 2. Endlessly slow mechanics, having to slowly grab EVERY item you want. And keeping NPCs talking while you're trying to fucking READ items? This "realism" choice is insanity.Show this thread2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
I'll put it this way, Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games, as is the original red dead redemption, but this one I'm having major problems with but it's best left to an essay.
