The entire problem is that Twitter (and the internet at large) measures itself by false metrics. Growth is about new accounts, follows, and high degree of tweets and interactivity. Every choice is made to suit those metrics. And likes? Likes are useless to that.

I have the same view of guns, unless you're playing Enter the Gungeon it isn't the guns doing the killing. Sticking with the gun analogy, yeah proper gun stewardship is necessary, but who carries that maintenance out, the manufacturers or end users?

We are so passed the "guns don't kill people" debate by ever single metric of study. They kill people. This is madness. Please, no further discussion on this. We'll talk about other things some other time.
