In a way, these criticisms remind me of my complaints about handheld camera-work. Yes, it's "realistic" in that a real person's head is always bobbing around, but BRAINS COMPENSATE FOR THAT and so WATCHING a bouncing camera feels unrealistic and annoying.

I think is a really valid criticism, but idk, I kind of enjoy it. It makes me contemplate the actions of Arthur & all these gang members in a concrete way. I turn over dead bodies rummaging for something of value, ransacking their houses. It’s different, and not for everyone

I’m curious to read your further opinions. After a few hours I enjoy the game’s holistic approach to mechanics/systems/ux and have fallen in love with its sense of place.

why is the button for talking to someone the same as the button for pointing your gun at them. I’ve screwed up several random encounters because I whip out my weapon and they bolt

Horses are so broken in this game. No horse will just run headlong into a tree unless it is absolutely forced to, yet i do it about every 5 min...because i try to hit down on the left stick to stop my horse instead of RB. Dumb dumb dumb

“Hhhmmm, our protagonist has two legs, and we have two joysticks on the controller...you know what would REALLY mimic realism?!...”
