What's upsetting about this is that they are two problems that The Witcher did perfectly with regards to tracking animals AND just allowing you to go into your own menu to play gwent. RDR2 is OBSESSED with not letting you go into any easier interface cuz REALISM.

Finally getting into the spaces to hunt and explore and I genuinely can't wait for the fishing part (it's always my favorite part of these games?) - this feels better.

I was buying new things for camp from a ledger. Another character came over to talk me about an unrelated matter that created a cutscene that dragged me away the ledger and now I have to go back. I have zero understanding of why this happened.

I don't complain for a living. I talk about art, it's purpose, it's import, and tend to write positive things that champion greater understanding of things that speak to the lovely heart. But by all means, say something disparaging about me because I point out obvious problems.

did to platformers. Limitless posibility & groundbreaking design. I'm only about 12 hours in, and it seems to have merged mechanics from games like MGS3, Skyrim, & peak Bioware RPGS to give your actions more purpose, they feel far more weighted than other Rockstar games.

(I loved both). It is understandable if you just wanted what Red Dead 1 offered, you may be put off with its heavy RPG mechanics. But the great developers have evolved their franchises over time.

What you might call plodding/slow/boring, I find myself so immersed in this world, the game may have 100's of hours worth of entertainment.
