See this is also where I'm also having trouble with the "recut" terminology. The scenes in question, i believe, are rapid fire terrifying images that come to her in dreams. You wouldn't even notice them gone. And most often, these kinds of things are handled by a second unit.

And again, I'm not trying to downplay the theft of whatever artist took the images. Absolutely not. I'm trying to just talk about the complicated relationship of film sets, along with how much of the theft actually has to do with the film itself.
