Only real question is: do you really think Heavenly Creatures is a bad teen movie? It's okay if you don't like it, but it feels pitched more at an adult audience, and personally, is quite emotionally affecting and bracingly made.

I don't think Hulk was making the argument that it was a bad film, just that it was one in a long line of films in the era to treat teenagers as these mad, bad dangerous threats to the status quo, and even though it's based on a true story, it was still produced during that wave.

Okay, just some phrasing made it seem like they were teen movies that were bad (with naughty teenagers) instead of movies about bad teens, my mistake.
