It so instantly brings me back to me dad. He loved boxing and taught me when I was little. We watched all the tyson fights together. We watched the douglas fight after skiing together. Some of my most positive memories with him.

To also be clear, Tyson was also a despicable person.

Old Tyson knockout reels are wild. The sheer power of his punches is unmatched. The dude is one of a kind.

He was so good, man. I think people forget just how skilled he was at not getting hit. He'd weave forever, he'd get close and then you'd die

My only real interest in boxing is Punch-Out, but peak-Tyson fights are the perfect form of entertainment: Short, non-stop and inevitable. They're like music videos of violence.

Early Tyson (anything pre-Don King, really) is utterly magnetic. He is raw, absolutely unrefined talent, wonderful to watch.
