Is it possible a paradigm shift in production/distribution may follow? Just thinking about the mass consolidation of radio in the 90's/2000's, which is similar, and was followed by rapid decentralization of content production and the advent of podcasting, etc.

the solution is a strong SEC that doesn’t allow monopolizing mergers. When people say “the merger is bad”, isn’t it obvious that the solution is “don’t let corporations create oligarchies”?
