Hey everyone not listening. This Arenanet thing is a giant, giant, giant deal on the level of gamergate and will have implications for the entire industry of video games. Perk up. Listen. And get everyone on the right track. Help do good. Be love.

First of all, it's an economic issue. Sides aside, it's another illustration of why the at-will employment is a terrible idea. Labor code needs to protect workers from getting fired for no good reason, dammit! You can't do that in Europe.
-
But getting back to politics... Being fired because the reddit crowd demanded it is a terrible injustice, and you're right to be outraged. I just don't understand where was the outrage when people got fired for being labeled "problematic" by the tumblr crowd.

Sorry for flooding, but the more I think about what you said, the more fucked-up it is. Please tell me in which case you believe a harassment campaign, with death threats and demands to get the victim fired, is moral and ethical. I can't believe you, of all people, said that.
-
If you think I advocate death threats on any level, you are sorely mistaken. With that, criticism for any position and anything you say? That come with any social territory. BUT it is up to the company to decide where they stand in those ethics.
