Again, so much of this comes down to language. I don't know how to debate someone about character arcs if we can't even agree on what character arcs *are* Does that make sense? Also, I'm kind of tired of the over the overwhelming need to debate. I wrote the essay so I could stop.

Well I agree that no one should feel compelled to debate. However, I don't think that the arguments and debates simply cease just because you wrote an article and deem the argument to now be over. That seems a little arrogant of you, to be honest.

There are still counter-arguments that can be made, even to your article. No matter how thorough your article was, it was not comprised of 100% objective truths. If you have no wish to debate this further, that's fine, but I don't think your article alone ends the argument.
