Like, I can't inherently separate myself from the toxicity of star wars fans. We're all "fans," there's just those who do so with a loving heart, and those who seek malice. Everything about community subdivision stems from that alone.

idk I've seen a few critics lump fic and marginalized fans in general together with fans who demand their headcanons to be canon, the entitled bunch. It's happening in comics especially.
