That's all very true. I just wish it would have been better-dramatized, though. T'Challa's struggles left me cold, emotionally... For example - I didn't share his grief for his father, because the movies never made me know and care about that father.

And that issue is there throughout the film - we never really feel Okoye's relationship with W'Kabi before it falls apart, we never feel W'Kabbi's resentment about his parents' death... and yet the film needs me to care about these things, for most of the dramatic beats to work.
