Suicide, or that which wishes not to be named, is a beast beyond most's comprehension. But it's like sleeper agent, placed in your brain long ago by things beyond your control. After years of confidence and not being able to connect to it, it can suddenly come online.

Hey Hulk, I have a question. Sometimes I feel guilty for being depressed but not suicidal. I know that sounds stupid, and I shouldn't, but I guess I feel like others have things worse than me and thus shouldn't complain. Maybe this wasn't a question per se.

Never compare, never worry about the other person. Depression is a crippling beast and don't confuse suicidal thoughts for degree of intensity. Your pain is so very valid. And your own.
