only a year for me but it's fucking wild how often I get in my car and think "I should call Mom...oh." Used to call her on Bluetooth every day when I left work.

I'm not sure if it's comparable, but it's been about 4 years since my cat died and I still dream about her. She still comes up to me, meowing and and rubbing herself on my legs. She still purrs when I pat her. But I cry in my sleep when she appears, because I know it's not real.
