More than 50,000 Ukrainian refugees have fled their country in less than 48 hours — a majority to Poland and Moldova — and many more are moving towards its borders.
Heartfelt thanks to the governments and people of countries keeping their borders open and welcoming refugees.

Ig because of cultural similarities. Neighbouring countries should have accepted in case of Afghanistan, Yemen ,Syria etc.

Good. But aren't these guys (countries), esp, Pol Govt stopped migrants in dire situation from taking shelter?

I am impressed by Polish hospitality. I just talked to three friends and two of them offered a place for Ukrainian refugees. I hope we manage to host as many as needed @trzaskowski_ @vonWurmbSeibel

It seems Poland is stopping Afghans coming from Ukraine at the border
