Apple unlocked "my" activation locked XR for me. Not sure if it'll be feasible for 550 iPads though, lol

Not feasible at all, recyclers get denied. The further you are from the original owner, the less likely. But that’s not how it should be — the 35th owner has the same property rights as the first. Apple has no authority to be determiner of our property rights.

Sucks that apple doesn't even show the email or give you a way to contact the owner at all. Even found devices can't be returned
