I have been thinking of picking up an iPad. While I enjoy photoshop as I used to do photo manipulation, I'd like to do more. I have seen people use procreate as an alternative. If I made this sort of investment, could anyone recommend brush sets?

You are the first to seem against this. Every artist I’ve spoken too seems to prefer the iPad. For its portability, responsiveness to the stylus, and the better art programs. Price isn’t an issue for me and I am no stranger to apple products.
An Ultrabook and a Wacom tablet would probably be better for drawing, as far as I've heard, but if you want an iPad go for it

The reason I am opposed to that is this; the one iPad would do, what those two devices can’t do separated. I want something portable but reliable. On quite a for forums the iPad is highly recommended. It would also be a surface I can see on while drawing.
