Alright imagine if you are kidnapped and beaten but at least they gave u scraps of food every once in a while. These billionaires make their money off of exploiting people and arent taxed why should people be happy about them giving tiny bits of their money.
Money for a crisis is money for a crisis. I don't think it makes them saints. I believe there should be significantly higher taxes on them too. But the ones who donate are currently receiving even more ire than the ones staying silent and doing nothing and that makes no sense.

the point is they're doing considerably less then they could, unlike us, who could donate an extra .004% of our net worth and it'd do absolutely nothing. they don't get that wealth without exploiting the fuck out of labor and they chose to hoard it, what little they give out 1/2

is only to help their public image, we know this if they actually cared there's so much more that can be done only by entities with extreme amounts of wealth. we shouldn't celebrate people hoarding wealth giving out tiny scraps.

Yeah I agree I think hella people are tweeting out shit like this for likes or attention because nothing is really gained complaining about the few good things they do. Especially when we can talk about the bad things they do or call out the ones doing nothing.
