I understand that completely, and I get that it doesn’t even look like a frog, but if you walk in and say you want a frong cake we may not understand if you mean a frog drawn ON it, or if you want the cake itself to be the body of a frog, hence the face and the green body
And perhaps it is just my own personal feeling of not stressing over the small stuff, and trying to see all the options rather than just “this person is an idiot” and I wasn’t even meaning just the frog cake but rather cakes that end up perfectly fine and people lose their minds

In which case, apologies for coming off stronger than intended, I simply speak from experience from actually working extremely hard on a cake and going out of my way to research different designs, only to be threaded my job over it because it’s not what they wanted

I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately whoever made this frog cake, like any of the options you said, they could have drawn the frog, made it into the shape of a frog, put a little plastic frog on top... so many options and it's like they didn't even try.

I understand what you mean and I probably should have clarified that I don’t agree with what this decorator did, though plastic frogs wouldn’t be as possible as one would think actually, however I meant more like my example, though something like this isn’t what should be on news
