    Thanks for reminding of our fall from near the lead to an also-ran in the stakes. This cornerstone of our democracy needs a makeover to render it fit for purpose in the 21st century. Gov committed to this 2 years ago but pulled down the shutters in August 2017

    putting panels on roofs can be done pretty efficiently — walls and facades quite inefficiently. like solar roads, solar facades/walls capture the public’s imagination, but it’s sooo much more efficient to put panels en masse on marginal land.

    Our research demonstrates that 30% of the corals died on the in 2016 due to anthropogenic global heating, followed by close to 20% more in 2017. Only a failed pro-coal politician could regard that as a "recovery".

    This is why our Parliament must pass the legislation to put decisions about medical transfers in the hands of doctors, with appropriate (but not excessive and punitive) ministerial oversight. many here in Australia will continue efforts to make this happen
