I just received a Friend Request from "Markiplier", so already I was leery, and then immediately was sent a link saying he picked several of his subscribers to win a prize. I didn't click it, but unpacked it on another site to find it's a "free iPhone" phishing site.

@Markiplier as I see people pull this junk in his comment section all the time, but the Friend Request system made it impossible to see the profile of who was sending me the message, even after accepting their friendship. That's unacceptable.Show this thread -
If I were maybe younger and more gullible, like a lot of his fanbase might be, I could've been a victim. I know it's impossible to police this kind of activity as it's all too common, but being able to view the profile first would DEFINITELY help.
