This seems to happen to everyone when they take time off from uploading, it doesn't really seem to be a thing where YouTube is fucking up, but more subscribers have moved on to other creators to watch and then see you upload and remember they are still subbed so they unsub.

Once you put out content that is gaining more attraction to the channel then you won't notice this trend will change most likely. This is just my experience from it happening to me way in the past and others.

I literally just tweeted about how when I came back from my hiatus I had 30.9k subs, and now I have 30.4k lmao man I love putting in work just to end up getting negative results :^) better go on another hiatus so I can grow!

i'm pretty sure it's people seeing a new vid pop up and going "oh yeah, this guy exists, i dont like him anymore, gonna unsub" happens to me most times i upload too and it's always in the time after i upload.

This is part of the reason I haven’t uploaded in so long. It was so demoralising and like every time I did nothing my count would go up but when I put work in id loose like 30 subs

Can confirm. Every publish I make I lose roughly 4-9 subs.
