I don't get it, why do Russia's regular citizens have to suffer for the actions of their dictator that they don't agree with? This might send a message to the officials but it's not gonna do anything except make the lives of the civilians even harder during these times

The main goal is to cause regular Russian citizens—who truly don’t want this war, but may have only heard misinformation from the Kremlin / state media—to get angry/aware of what Putin’s actions are costing. Civs in Ukraine are dying; hopefully Russians will revolt for change

Let gamers play their games. Games bring people together! This ban will hurt people that have nothing to do with the ongoing conflict.

Im sorry but this is bs. Why do the people has to pay other actions? Videogames are the only way of escaping this shitty world we live in, many prefer virtual worlds for a reason, and suspending their accounts will only hurt Russian citizens, not Putin.
This will do nothing but make Russian civilians angry. Cut them off from their income, make stuff they paid for inaccessible, all for what? To make them go out more than people already are and get apprehended by police and put in jail for daring to speak against Putin?

The world's watching. No one wants to trade with corrupt governments like N. Korea. Especially governments that use threats as negotiating points. People wanna use the USA as a scape goat for these atrocities but don't realize if this goes on for a year it will be 100 times worse
