1. 'Petrichor'
the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. From Ancient Greek πέτρα (pétra) 'rock', or πέτρος (pétros) 'stone', and ἰχώρ (ikhṓr), the ethereal fluid that flows in the veins of the immortals
