This has been one of my favourite pieces by Escher for a long time. It's in permanent exposition in The Hague, if I'm not mistaken, in . So beautiful.

We all love Escher's reality-bending stuff with stairs in the ceiling and all that, but his "normal" art is jaw-droppingly beautiful.
