The radio station in Kootwijk was built as a communication facility between the Netherlands and its colonies, in particular the Dutch East Indies, today Indonesia.
It had 6 more then 200-meter high VLF transmitters, destroyed in 1945 by the retracting Germans

1920? Woah! To my knowledge most Deco didn’t come about until after the 1925 Paris Exposition. Love to see it
