In 1919, Kolesnikoff and his family moved along the Georgian Military Highway through Turkey, first to Greece, and then to Serbia. Since then, he lived in Belgrade, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Yugoslavia after 1929), where he bought a small house near the city center

Wow... When artists manage to express that organized disorder of nature.. That organic, harmonious chaos.. It's sublime. And somehow stings and inspires in how far from the sublime we still are. Beautiful.
