The neat thing is that almost all of the skyscrapers highlighted in this photograph are still standing. Only the one between the Tribune Tower and the Carbon and Carbide Building (second from the left) has been torn down.

Downtown Chicago is so beautiful. I was lucky enough to have gone to college down there and then worked near the loop for ten years. A treasured time full of amazing views.
