On the way to my daughter's school, we walk under a maulberry tree hanging over a fence... We love *him very much and during this time of the year, if we are not in a hurry, we help *him to relieve himself, picking a couple of the ripe (delicious) berries...

*Mulberry tree... misspelled/Germanized because I am used to the German word for it, which is very similar: Maulbeerbaum

Anyhow, Mulberry & Maulbeer are close cousins, since they both come from the Latin ‘morum’, while the Latin descends probably from Greek 'moron' (mulberry), which comes from Proto-Indo-European *moro-, source also of Armenian 'mor' (blackberry) and Welsh 'merwydden' (mulberry)
