The nuclear-powered cruise-missile submarine of the Russian Navy 'Kursk' (K-141) after its recovery in 2001. On 12 August 2000, after an explosion, the submarine sank in relatively shallow water in the Barents Sea, bottoming at 108 metres and killing all 118 personnel on board.
