Cool as this concept is the idea of using this much concrete to keep the ocean at bay really doesn't square with how we're already running out of sand to use for it.
It's rather terrifying to think on how impossible every fictional rendition of compensating for sea level rise is.

I thought max possible sea rise was like 10m and expected was like 3m?
Sand is a big problem though I agree.
