Totally agree. I was against the first Scottish Indy ref as I could see the divisions it would create. But now I support Scotland, Wales & NI if they choose to leave. Brexit is an English exceptionalist disease and it’s wrong to inflict on others!

I’m slowly coming around to that too but it’s hard for me. I grew up in Carlisle, just a few miles south of the border. My nana was Scottish, my granny Welsh and my grandads were English. I have Scottish friends and relatives. Sad times.

Cont. I think when it comes down to it family is never foreign. I actually found the ‘I don’t want my family to become foreigners’ line pushed by some in Better Together to be quite obnoxious. As if I’d love my family any less because they live in another country.

I'm in the same state. Didn't support Scottish independence, now do. We English have screwed over our fellow nations.

Yes I was a unionist but now (as an Englishman with a Scottish father and an Irish grandfather) now support Scottish Independence and a unified Ireland. Though Scotland will have rough time, a vindictive Westminster will try to destroy the Scottish economy.
