Just had this pointed out to me. I hadn't even noticed Wurmple has a yellow horn on the back of its head in Pokémon Legends Arceus. It doesn't have this in any other game.pic.twitter.com/ttPzsqMQOy

That’s what I was thinking! Would be really nice if you could finally tell which evo you’re getting right off the bat
This us so excitingly awesome
I think a lot of Pokémon are going to have small things different to show how time has passed. More like Darwin’s evolution theory.
That would be really cool! How do you think HOME would handle that? Would they just change the yellow horn to red when transferring over, or would it be considered another form?
or maybe Hinuian Dustox? Remember the bow Klara wore on her head?
I couldn’t find Dustox anywhere in the direct, but there are regular Beautifly fluttering about. If I had to bet, this is it. Yellow horn Wurmple probably have a 50% chance to evolve into a Hinuian Dustox instead of a 50% chance to evolve into a Sinnoian Dustox.
But what would Wurmple evolve into?? Since it's a worm would it evolve into some sort of cocoon?? That wouldn't make sense at all
This is a possibility!
My guess is that you'll need to have two Wurmple for the quest, one for Silcoon and one for Cascoon.
OMG that kind of confirms that even further, I can't wait to see this regional form
