I think the thread makes sense if we assume some of his firms money is still in joint accounts with 3AC and he is worried about them withdrawing it and shifting jurisdictions. Definitely agree a thread like that should be the last option.
There are a few others in a similar situation who have not made threads about it and are keeping it private.
