Burning USTC is dumb as well, most of the victims have already sold so it doesn't benefit anyone who actually lost money... Plus it's met with the exact same fundamental problem (dead on-chain volume making the burn fairly unimpactful)
It would help me. I got caught in the death spiral. My account was frozen and I could do nothing but watch the loss. So maybe just hold back on the FUD and keep my hopes alive.
Considering it stays strictly on chain and isn't embraced by exchanges it would not be dumb as those who lost money would have an equal chance or an even better depending on their individual accumulation. For as much access as you have to information, you're very close minded
