By Justin's hand, USDD shall repeg

Why are you Pro Tron and Justin Sun all the sudden? Seems super odd you are anti Luna yet tron has been depegged all week and it’s under .98

I'm not pro-TRON nor am I pro-Justin. I'm neutral. Don't know much about either. Assuming the site's listed collateral is real, there is more than enough capital & liquidity available to repeg USDD - it's not comparable to LUNA.

Are you 100% sure about that? I think things sometimes are not as they seem. I’d be careful with defending USDD. My 2cents.

I'm 100% sure, ran some liquidity checks with a market maker and assuming Justin deploys all of the website's listed collateral, USDD will easily repeg (in this round, not sure about the next round though)

Yeah… what if he doesn’t

That's the primary risk - I trust he will deploy it, but there is always a chance he just lets it fail, which (I think?) would be fraud

Yes, and I think that’s a very non-zero probability risk. We already know that the USDD design is inherently flawed. If you were Sun would you really throw billions of dollars away to defend a system you knew would fail in the end?

It will take less than a tenth of a billion to repeg right now, so either he has already given up (unlikely, USDD is still so small) or there is a master plan at play to squeeze shorters

That's totally incorrect, it doesn't account for liquidity. There aren't that many coins available for sale in the sell books and it doesn't factor in slippage. This is why I had to run the calculation with a market maker, it's a bit of a complex arithmetic

sure yes, it had imperfections but was attempt to redirect towards a viable solution. Which you just did... I mean a simple credit or a mention would have been appreciated
