The simple answer is your income doesn't rely on crypto & yields going up. Bull or bear, you take a nice cut. This is also a part of why BUSD is the safest stablecoin - not only is it fully backed by USD, but it can also fall back on a highly profitable business just in case.

In general, CZ & Binance seem to be a force for good. They have several questionable practices, but I presume most of that is due to workload delegation to middle management who may not be as scrupulous/ethical. It's always good for BUSD, though.
