To the LUNC crew: I support this proposal and I hope it is enacted. https://stake.id/#/proposal/4080 Instead of burning 1.2% of every transaction, it will burn 0.35% of each transaction's fee with 0.15% going to ecosystem devs. Great choice IMO - slower burn, but way more sustainable.

But if it specifically says that the name, symbol and decimals are the values that are immutable aka cannot be changed then they must matter and be a core part of the contract.

And if it was tied to the blockchain then any coin could break their contract with a fork and just claiming the contract is not valid anymore when they changed the blockchain. And in reality Terra created a new blockchain by cloning the old one with their own set values only.

Terra really might have fucked up not renaming the new token officially Terra Luna 2.0 instead of taking the old name Terra Luna due to marketing reasons and this way opened a serious issues about the smart contract immutability if its really tied to the name or not.

To me it makes alot more sense that the contract would be tied to the brand name which is this case is Terra Luna. For example if a car company like Porche would suddenly change their name I doubt they would get that many customers since its usually the brand name people pay for.

And immutable smart contracts are supposed to be simple due to the fact that they cannot be changed and are tied to the brand name. Atleast this would make the most sense because if not then any smart contract could have loopholes like changing a blockchain so contracts are void.

Because its a straight up clone from the original luna (luna classic now). I guess they rushed it because of reasons unknown and didn't think about the implications of it being a clone of the old one with their new set values instead of actually totally new token.

Thank you again for the ONLY morsel of communication the
