In general for traders Binance is just a much better exchange than FTX. FTX has a few fun gimmics but: -50ms api is unacceptable -market orders don't even settle instantly (like, wtf) -liquidity & volume lower than binance across the board
UI/UX-wise, FTX is far superior for retail traders, and for serious traders looking to move volume through the API, Binance seems to be a better choice - but their retail-facing infra is godawful IMO

I like the UI style, but UX is fairly horrible yeah. You get used to it, but newcomers have genuinely no idea where to go.

Binance UX is the pits. I had no idea how to do futures on Binance when I was first learning. FTX made it super easy to understand.
