I don’t think he’s saying he’s ok with people losing their money, but just that it didn’t take down the industry like some would have hoped or expected.

It did not take down the industry because the exposure was limited with most UST being deployed for staking and limited broad market utilization of UST. That is unrelated to the fact that lives were lost and life earnings destroyed for many.
