I genuinely believe that @VitalikButerin is a good actor and wants what's best for the community & ecosystem. Everything he does and says seems to be to further this goal. Dare I say, he's a treasure and should be protected at all costs.
I think he’s just a kid, I think I understand how he operates, no solid principles yet, one day it’s bitcoin maximalism, another - dao fork because he simply doesn’t like what happened, swinging from one extreme to another, but still primarily selfish, not industry driven
To become industry driven (another level of understanding) you have to grow up, be like 40 years old at least. Age / experience of course is not enough, but is a must. So far, the kid just plays to win. Not a bad thing, but not for the sake of anything big.
