Roast me if this is a bad idea but I think it's a net positive for literally every stakeholder involved and is a legitimate way to generate revenue - hopefully someone trusted like @angelprotocol can dwell on this thought

A protocol should whip up a smart contract and front end for a charity Terra 2 casino - punters send LUNA to the site & have a 50/50 chance of doubling their money. A 0.4% fee per TX is sent to an index of small UST holders automatically. Very low house edge & for a good cause.

This may or may not be a good idea. The main thing is Terra 2 has the chance to build real protocols and dApps which weren’t really in the forefront for Luna Classic

What? Real protocols? There were plenty of “real protocols” on the network. In fact, Terra had the most vibrant defi ecosystem. Problem was UST completely and utterly failed but it was what made it unique. Now it’s just a run of the mill alt L1.

I actually Think it should be a standard on Terra 2.0, where all protocols donate 0.1% to a fund to repay small UST holders. It would show that this Jane and community is serious about protecting the rank and file over the long term. Protocols that don’t adhere would be outed

Well, the new protocol and Terra 2 builders don't owe a debt to UST holders. Ideally, you want the contribution to be beneficial in some way. So if this model is created (a 0.4% charitable fee), it's good for the gamblers too, since most casinos have a 1%+ house edge. Win-win.

I was also wondering if there would be a follow up on partial refunds for UST holders as Bad been stated previously.

The refund is coming IMO, but it's a small amount - this might be an interesting method of generating sustainable charitable revenue
