a nightmare. Do Kwon compensating users with creating a new chain is an easy way to say he did something without promising any real compensation. Users lost a dollar for every UST and they get a small percentage back in newly crafted Luna2 as compensation? Hope it works.
I feel for all these people. I also think it highlights a serious problem with crypto investors as we again and again hear "I thought my money was safe." Educate yourselves people. Stop investing into things if you don't understand how they work.
And if you decide to place your money with a company or protocol that invests your money for you, be sure you understand what kind of investments they're making and the risks they carry. Insurance was cheaply available but people were too greedy to give up part of their yield.
