I’m sure it’s possible he’s trying to help. But if it’s true that he is posting something he got through DM from someone he doesn’t know as “a verified source”, he is not helping.
When I say verified source, it's not a random DM, it's a verified source (ie. authentic verified social media, email directly from an official domain, etc.)

That’s why I said “if it’s true”. Not saying it is. I just reacted because I saw someone saying that, if it were true, it would be ok because you are trying to help.
